Divers can experience a different underwater environment at night because many underwater animals are nocturnal. But there are additional hazards to be aware of when diving in the darkness that can result in panic and uncontrollable actions.

Anyone being in the possession of a PADI Open Water Diver certificate or higher and being at least 12 years old can adhere to the PADI Night Diver Specialty Course.

What will you learn:

• Night dive planning, organization, equipment, procedures, techniques, and potential problems.
• How to control your buoyancy at night.
• Entries, exits and underwater navigation at night.
• Nocturnal aquatic life, since many of the plants and animals you will see are different.

The PADI Night Diver Specialty Course can be completed in 3 dives and beside your basic diving gear, you also need a dive light, by preference a backup light also and adequate protection from exposure.

You will learn how to dive at night safely, to use the right signals to communicate underwater and to experience a whole other dimension by diving at night.

What makes it different from day diving? Well, when you make day dive you normally scan the entire dive site looking at your surroundings while at night you only see the area of the dive site that is lit by your dive light. Another reason is that the colors underwater are much more vivid at night because the sunlight is not getting absorbed.

Night diving is quite an interesting and mysterious experience. Once you descend into the water at night and discover this whole new world, you will definitely want more.

Entering a world illuminated only by a dive light can make your skin tingle with excitement.

Don’t think too much and follow the PADI Night Diver Specialty Course. We, at Red Sea Life, will prepare you for some spectacular diving in the underwater world almost beyond imagination.

Be aware that you are only allowed to do a night dive from the boat and the minimum number to go is 6 Divers and you are not allowed to do a dive from the House Reef as per Coast Guard and you will go by boat at night and there will be a dinner meal on the boat and come back in the morning.
