PADI Enriched Air course (Nitrox)
How Does It Look?
What would it be like to maximize time underwater? What would it be
like to reduce decompression time? Extending your bottom times? Stay
down longer!
Of course, you have already heard the good news. The magic word is
enriched air (Nitrox). With enriched air, you are in a position to
prolong bottom times and to reduce surface intervals. As a result, you
create an opportunity to increase your number of dives.
Did you know that the PADI Enriched Air Diver course is extremely
popular?
So popular, it is the most sought after specialty course Red Sea Life has to offer you. Enriched air nitrox is considered the holy
grail in realizing extra time during repetitive diving.
PADI Enriched Air Diver course.
How Do You Qualify?
You are already certified as a (Junior) Open Water Diver or equivalent and
you are at least 12 years young. You would need parental or guardian
approval if you are still underaged. You will definitely need to take an
examination to ensure you properly understand the benefits and risks of
enriched air diving.
What Will You Learn?
You have to know that enriched air is a ‘blend’ or mixture of higher
oxygen and lower nitrogen. It requires a different approach above and
underwater. We will make you familiar with why this is and how to deal with
it.
You will learn how to monitor your enriched air consumption and how it
affects your diving profile. You will simply learn how to cope with
enriched air nitrox.
We will teach you to understand the potential hazards. You will get a grip
on how to analyze your tank oxygen content. You will get an
understanding of how to manage pressure and to set your diving
computer for descendants with nitrox.
It is of paramount importance to tell the difference between a bottle with
conventional air and a cylinder with enriched air. You do not want to
confuse them for one other. We teach you how.
