PADI Bubblemaker Hurghada: Safe Kids Scuba Diving Experience
Give your child an inspiring first step into the underwater world. The PADI Bubblemaker programme at Red Sea Life Diving Center introduces young adventurers aged 8 and above to the thrill of breathing underwater. Conducted in the calm, heated swimming pool at Desert Rose Resort under continuous, direct instructor supervision, children learn fundamental scuba basics with specialised child sized equipment in complete comfort and safety.
Family First Safety Standard: Every child is guided by a verified PADI Instructor with more than 5 years of Red Sea teaching experience. Briefings and underwater coaching are delivered in English, German, French, Russian, and Arabic.
Tailored Child Fit Gear
Lightweight aluminium mini tanks, small silicone mouthpieces, junior masks, and child fit buoyancy control jackets for effortless breathing.
Direct Instructor Supervision
Maximum instructor attention throughout the session. We assign a dedicated private instructor for family groups of 4 or more at no extra charge.
Calm Confined Pool
Zero waves, zero currents, and a shallow 2 metre maximum depth where children can easily stand up and see through crystal clear water.
Official PADI Recognition
Includes an official PADI Bubblemaker recognition certificate, logbook registration, and memorable scuba souvenir stickers.

Health and Medical Safety Guidelines
No medical certificate is required if your child has no pre existing medical conditions and you can answer no to all questions on the standard PADI Youth Medical Statement. If any medical condition exists, such as asthma, ear conditions, or respiratory conditions, signed physician clearance from a diving doctor must be provided before the pool session.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does my child need to be an expert swimmer?
No. They only need to be comfortable and calm in the water. The session takes place in a shallow, warm pool where they can stand up comfortably under instructor support.
Can parents be in the water with their child?
Parents can watch and take photos from the pool edge at Desert Rose Resort. For sea excursions, parents can join on the same boat as snorkellers or certified divers.
What is the next step after the Bubblemaker programme?
Children aged 8 to 9 can enrol in the PADI Seal Team programme. At age 10, they become eligible for the full PADI Junior Open Water Diver Course for open sea diving down to 12 metres.
